Background

The practise is based in excellent, well-equipped, purpose-built premises and caters for a population of around 10,300 patients, including our newly built branch surgery at Sabden. Situated in the beautiful Ribble Valley we combine the traditional values of family medicine with a fully computerised dispensing practice, giving a friendly service to the Pendleside villages of rural Lancashire.

The main surgery premises are in King Street, Whalley, with a newly built branch surgery in Sabden, There is full disabled access to both surgeries.

We have five Doctors in the practice (including two female partners) and also employ a GP Trainee. Patients will be registered with one or other of the partners, but may request an appointment with any partner working in the practice. We are a recognised Training Practice, which means that Doctors who are fully experienced and qualified in hospital medicine are invited to join us for periods of time before embarking upon their career in General Practice.

Our in-house dispensary offers a full dispensing service. Repeat Prescriptions can be ordered securely online.

We have a team of 21 dedicated Staff including two district nurses and two health visitors.
